The Philadelphia Music Project (PMP), a program of The Pew Center for Arts & Heritage, serves to foster artistic excellence and innovation in the region’s music community. In addition to awarding grants for a range of artistic endeavors PMP provides professional development services to area music groups through seminars, symposiums, and consultations.

 

Over the course of two separate one-week programs we consulted with over 30 Philadelphia music organizations ― listening to their stories and issues; providing feedback on their current marketing and communications efforts; and mentoring them on future audience development, marketing, and communications strategies. Our meetings were highly rewarding and each group left armed with action steps for the very next day and beyond.
